The Challenge
Rosen’s Bagels, a local favorite in Austin, wanted to refresh their menu and create playful merchandise for an upcoming event. With a strong logo and color palette already in place, the challenge was bringing the brand to life in a fun, whimsical way that felt true to their personality.
Our Approach
I developed a series of custom illustrations featuring playful, anthropomorphic bagel characters giving peace signs, thumbs up, walking around, and more to bring the brand to life on both the menu and merchandise. Leaning into a retro look and feel, the designs matched Rosen’s Bagels’ mix of traditional and playful personality. Several rounds of sketches and iterations led to final designs that felt lively, cohesive, and full of charm, nicely capturing the brand’s quirky, fun spirit.
